Freedom Private Dog Park is the answer!
Your dog can sniff, explore, run, play and enjoy themselves in our fully fenced 1/2 acre field all to yourselves. This area give you the peace of mind that public parks can’t. Doggie play dates are also encouraged! In the dog park, there are no surprise encounters with unknown dogs, so you can rest assured you and your dog will be safe. When booking with a friend, please add their name to the registration.
We provide waste disposal, obstacles for your dog to have adventures on and shade trees. Dogs of any breed, size or personality are welcome.
Freedom Private Dog Park Rules
When you arrive, please park in the driveway. Please do not park in the grass. Take your dog(s) on leash from your car to the double gate to the north of the driveway. Your dog(s) MUST be on leash from your vehicle to the fenced field. Outside the fenced in field is NOT an off leash area. Please no retractable leashes. You may use a regular 4-6 foot leash or long line.
Dog owners/handlers are personally responsible and legally responsible for their animals. you are using this facility at your own risk, and are personally and legally liable for injuries or damage caused by you, your guests and/or your dog(s). Freedom Dog Training & Boarding, Nicole LaVarier, Freedom Dog Training & Boarding staff, her family or insurance cannot be held responsible for you and your dog(s)’s participation in this event. An annual waiver must be sighed each year. Current veterinary records must be on file for your dog(s) to participate.
*Please do not let your dog mark on our flowers, bushes tress, house or other items besides grass. Our training property is also our home. Please also pick up after your dog, and if you see a mess someone missed (whether dog mess or a stray coffee cup) and dispose of it in the provided garbage can.
*All visits are by appoint only: no drop-ins. Please reserve your time online. You can click HERE or the buttons on the top and bottom of this page to make a reservation.
*Maximum of 2 dogs per adult (over 18 years old).
*Veterinary Record Requirements
- Rabies (1yr or 3yr)
- Distemper Combo (1yr, 3yr or yearly titer)
- Yearly negative fecal test
- We highly recommend a flea, tick and heat worm preventative. Your dog(s) will be running in a field with grass next to a wooded area so preventative is suggested.
*Always securing latch the gates when you arrive and leave.
*Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your time and leave in a timely manner when your session is up. we have limited parking spaces. Also some dog come here to play because they do not like meeting other dogs. do not enter the park if it is occupies by someone.
*You are welcome to bring a beverage or snack, however no alcoholic drinks or smoking is permitted while on our property and please dispose of any garbage in the garbage can provided.
*Dog(s) and child(ren) MUST be supervised by someone over the age of 18 years old. Do not leave dog(s) or child(ren) unattended in the dog park at any time. Owners/handlers must be within visual and vocal range of their dog(s) at all times. If owner/handler has to leave the fenced area, then they need to take the dog(s) with them or if at the dog park with another adult, the other adult needs to take responsibility of supervising the dog(s) until the owner/handler can again monitor their dog(s).
*Freedom Dog Training & Boarding reserves the right to refuse entry.
*Owners/handlers must have control of their dog(s) at all times. Dog owners and/or handlers appointed by owners are responsible for their dog(s)’ actions.
*Owners/handlers are welcome to bring toys with you such as balls or frisbees. It is the responsibility of the owners/handlers to know if the dog(s) in the dog park with you will fight over toys. Owners/handlers, please take all toys with you when you leave.
*Owners/handlers are welcome to bring dog food or treats. It is the responsibility of the owners/handlers to know if the dog(s) in the dog park with you will fight over food. Please be careful not to drop food as that could be a problem for the next visitor.
*Freedom Dog Training & Boarding is NOT responsible for lost items such as dog toys and/or personal belongings. If you find an item, please place it in the bin near the gate. Send us an email or text if you left something behind and would like it set aside until your next visit.
*For health reasons, we ask owners/handlers to bring their dog’s own water bowl and water.
*If the owners/handlers dog(s) have a cough, diarrhea, worms, fleas, signs of illness or is sick, please keep your dog at home.
*Please keep barking to a minimum. This is a neighborhood and we want to respect our neighbors.
*Humans are not allowed on equipment, fences or gates. Please do not yourself or allow your children to climb on the dog training equipment, any fences or gates on the property.
*One advantage. to our private dog park is a safe space where you can take your dog to exercise and play even if your dog does not get along with other dogs. However please note that we may be training or socializing dogs in our driveway or backyard pen when you come. These are separate areas divided by a fence from the private dog park but are in visual range of each other.
*Freedom Dog Training & Boarding currently does not have a human restroom at our facility. There are some gas stations and fast food places within 5 minutes of our location.
*Freedom Dog Training & Boarding reserves the right to close the facility for any reason at any time. Reasons could be but not limited to repair, maintenance or weather.
Last but not least, have fun with your dog! The private dog park is outside on grass, so please wear appropriate footwear. SAFETY (HUMAN & DOG) IS #1 PRIORITY.
Freedom Private Dog Park FAQs
No, your dog will only be one in the dog park with your other dogs or one friend’s dogs. We welcome intact dogs as they also need exercise and socialization.
We require the following:

When you sign up for a single session, you may bring up to 2 dogs. When you sign up for a multiple session, you may bring up to two dogs per adult. A multiple session can be up to two dogs per adult. This could be 3-4 dogs with two adults from one household or 3-4 dogs with two adults from two different households.
A single visit is at least one adult with 1-2 dogs. Other family members may also attend with the 1-2 dogs.
A multiple visit is at two adults with between 2-4 dogs. This could be two adults from the same household with 3-4 dogs or two adult friends with 1-2 per person. Other family members may also attend.
No, when you book your time you decide which dog or dogs come with you. If you have a dog that is dog reactive or aggressive they will be the only dog in the field. However please note that we may be training or socializing dogs in our driveway or backyard pen when you come. These are separate areas divided by a fence from the private dog park area but are in visual range of each other. If we are training in the driveway, we will be more than happy to move so that you can safely walk your dog from your care to the dog park field.
